Tehran (IP) – ‘Iran-UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) Innovation and Technology Club’ was inaugurated at the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO with the presence of the secretary-general of the commission and head of the innovation and technology club.
Iran Press/ Iran News: “One of the gaps in innovation, technology, and commercialization in Iran is the lack of proper infrastructure and international communication network. The first step of the Iran-UNESCO Innovation and Technology Club is to connect to the global network to use the capacities and successful experiences of the world in the field of innovation and technology,” Peyman Sarhadi, head of the Iran-UNESCO Innovation and Technology Club told Iran Press on Tuesday
“A large network of clubs around the world operate under UNESCO and we are looking to use this capacity to commercialize and create successful interactions in the field of technology in the country,” he added. Secretary-General of the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO, Hojjatollah Ayoubi, also told Iran Press that Tehran sought to use UNESCO’s capacity to grow and develop innovation and technology in the country
“UNESCO seeks to use new technologies such as artificial intelligence to achieve justice in the world. Iran has a huge human resource capacity, and UNESCO may be able to help Iran use this capacity,” added Ayoubi
